Determinants of demand and supply on population.
Nowadays
population in our country has increase especially in Sabah.Sabah shows increase
in 285% from 1970 until 2000.While Sarawak increase to 106% and Peninsular

When
population in our country increase, the general demand for sugars will
increase. Therefore, the demand curve will shift to the right.
The
graph shown that the price of sugar is being constant. The demand curve (D) is a
quantity demand of sugar in year 1970.While demand curve (D1) is a quantity
demand of sugar in year 2000.It show an increase in quantity demanded of
sugar. Therefore the demand curve will shift to the right from (D) to (D1).
An increase in a population in our country will also effect on quantity supplied of sugar. When population increase, quantity supplied of sugar in our country also will increase. Therefore, the supply curve will shift to the right.
The
show that the price of sugar is constant. The supply curve (S1) is a quantity
supplied of sugar in year 1970.While supply curve (S2) is a quantity supplied
of sugar in year 2000.It show an increase in quantity suppliedof sugar from
(S1) to (S2).Therefore,the supply curve will shift to the left.
